The Urban Cowboy's Line Dance Co. was founded on the 21st May 1994 in Perth, Western Australia. Now in our 12th year and still enjoying all the challenges the dance floor can throw at us.

Hi, my name is Glenn Dale, father of three girls. Mechanic by day, Bootscoot instructor by night!! Yes, it is hard to go from plugs, points, grease and oil to right and left 45s, but it's fun seeing the looks on peoples faces when I tell them to camber to the right, check the level of their hitches, ensure their exhausts are not leaking, and they are fully licensed to thrill!

I commenced dancing with the Urban Cowboy's in August 1996, with further interests in teaching. In just a short time I found myself on stage running classes.

Growth: At first there was only little old me, running around, stereo in the boot, dance sheet in hand and boots a-tapping'. I now find myself surrounded by some of the most talented people I've ever known. People come and go in every industry over time and the same can be said for line dancing. I have made good friends and met some interesting and outstanding people during my time as an instructor, and I'm sure there is more to come. Urban Cowboy's has in excess of 300 members and many more casuals dancing with us every week. Inevitably, this will ensure the success of the company for many more years to come.
