Purpose

To make the full Gospel of Jesus Christ known in the power of the Holy Spirit to Aborigines throughout Australia, especially those in remote areas.

How?

bullet Providing national recognition for the outreach among Australian Aborigines.
bullet Providing national recognition for the outreach among Australian Aborigines in ministry.
bullet Training Aborigines in their local setting in Biblical truth, in Christian leadership and in the skills of communicating the Gospel.
bullet Sending and supporting missionaries with proven love and understanding of the unique culture and situation of the Australian Aborigines.
And who evidence God's call upon their lives to minister Christ to these peoples, with the goal of seeing indigenous assemblies planted in accord with Assemblies of God practice and principles.
bullet To provide financial assistance for selected Aboriginal workers in harmony with the Action programme adopted by the World Missions leadership.
bullet To call together representatives of Aboriginal assemblies for fellowship , consultation and renewal.

Realising and respecting the sensitivity and complexity of the struggle by Australian Aboriginal people for self-determination, it as here stated that the focus of this outreach is the spiritual and personal needs of Aboriginal people, in the light of God's love demonstrated at Calvary.
We believe that salvation through Jesus Christ and the indwelling power of the Holy Spirit are first in importance.
We further believe that God is the only source of human reconciliation. His love in human hearts gives us the ability to forgive.
