Our Elf was assembled in New Zealand and we purchased and brought it to Melbourne in July 2000.
We originally intended to use it as it was but rust areas and a tatty appearance called for some work.
The original engine had been replaced but was included in the sale and this required only minor work before being reinstalled.
With a locally purchased 4 synchro gearbox, the Elf is now running and sounding as new.
Jobs done on the body were repairs to rust areas, respray to original Elf 2 tone colour,
