Dear Sue
I think it is about time for an update on Simba and Honey.
Both are well, very playful are now used to our routine. They sleep well and wake up before
6 am to play and play again before we turn in.

Both are very energetic and inquisitive (Honey the more so) and little Honey is now eating well and is growing.
Both are very affectionate with Honey chasing behind us tapping our calves as we walk about the apartment. Simba seems to be a bit of a bully at times and other times Honey holds her ground and has taken to growling when playing with her favourite toy when all
parties stay well away.

Goldie our Persian spends her time watching the kittens play and I think some day soon she'll join in but still hisses if either Simba or Honey get a bit too close.
As for Angel, our Russian Blue, all of a sudden she looks so much bigger (compared with the kittens) but they are now spending time together. As soon as Simba gets a little too boisterous our tries to suckle Angel, Angel admonishes Simba and leaves him. There have been no fights but all cats seem to get on well - eating together and with the exception of Goldie, sleep near each other.
Thank you again for bringing Simba and Honey into our lives - you have done a lovely job in nurturing their early years so that they arrive with us with such lovely dispositions, full of affection, which is showered upon them as well.
They are happy and content kitties which I think is evidenced in the attached pictures.

Best wishes

Dear Sue
I am sorry that it has been some time since we updated you on the kittens' progress. They are both well and full of the joys of spring, or rather, the summer.
Both kittens have been neutered and have recovered well from their ordeal.
Honey is growing and is a darling wanting to play all the time - one can almost see her learning and taking things in all the time. She always runs to greet us when we return from work and won't stop meowing until the right amount of personal attention has been given. In the middle of the night she often finds her favourite toy and brings it onto the bed expecting us to play with her - obviously, she still has something to learn!!
Currently Honey weighs 2.7 kgs and I hope this compares well with her siblings.
Simba seeks attention when he wants it and is affectionate in his own way. He is not very vocal, managing instead a short squeak of a meow and climbs up onto me and nestles on my chest/shoulder when I am sitting and purrs loudly. He has taken to sleeping on my pillow (getting there before me) and we manage OK. Fortunately, he no longer licks my head or forehead, but he gets close to it. When feeling very content and relaxed, his mind flips to his mum I think - he goes to his happy time -   Simba is a solid kitten and possibly a little overweight, which we will have to watch but this is difficult with 4 cats in the house. He now weighs 4.1 kgs
I hope all is well with you. Rest assured that the Honey and Simba are healthy and such a joy for us all. Angel (our aging and deaf Russian Blue) is the de facto mum to them both and Honey and Simba are often seen sleeping with her.
Both Simba and Honey are friendly towards strangers, Simba more so and immediately friendly. Honey heeds a minute or too but her inquisitive nature takes over and she is in there finding out what the plumber is up to under the sink and so on!!!

Take care. Regards from a very-satisfied-with-their-cats
