Email from Oramor Krissy:- Hi Sue, I have spent my first night in my new home, and I have to tell you that it ain't half bad! (purr...purr) The Riordan's are treating to all sorts of nice things to play with, I have a choice of 2 beds for my exclusive use and I can use a beautiful queen bed and a double bed when they are busy doing other things. I just love playing with their feet and I'm learning how to tackle a human quite well. This morning they put on roast beet for tonight's dinner and I pre-tasted it.. and it passed my taste test with flying colours. They have named me "Krissy". Its a bit much really.. They keep saying...where's "Krissy" and is "Krissy" present? So I hope this means they will be writing all sorts of letters for me to Santa come Christmas time and I get lots of "Krissy" presents. :-) With best wishes and thanks for looking after me until I got to this new home which I assure you will be quite satisfactory. Love Krissy. PS. Barry and Lesley typed this for me and they send their love too! Eli Waters. 12/5/07
Hi Sue, Just a note about Oramor Glitter. We have had her a few months now and she's settled now for sure. She is very loving and follows us around whenever she can...she likes the dogs and loves sitting on their "day bed" in the sun......she has her little routine for the day well and truly worked out. and at night she sleeps in her cat bed on the couch with us. Her favourite hobby is chasing skinks, she is so gentle with them that I can re-release with only a tail missing. She plays with us now too, biting ever so gentle....in all she's beautiful and we love her so much.....of course she knows that!!! We chat to her all day and she always answers back which is lovely. Oramor Glitter is just so happy in her retirement :-) Thanks again Sue.........Regards Lesley. Hervey Bay 1/10/07
Hi Sue, A little update on precious Glitter.......she is completely and utterly settled in here now and spends most of the day in the backyard which is large enough for a Burmese to explore over and over.........I caught her tackling the mini foxies this morning while I was hanging out the clothes........she pounced on them and they lay on their backs too scared to move, I had to laugh. She has an appointment each night with a gecko inside the house.....it makes its way slowly right around the lounge ceiling and she freaks........it fell off the wall one night in fright and she pounced and I managed to prize her jaws open and save it.......as usual, not a thing was wrong with it.........she is so gentle. One of her favourites is sitting in the wheelbarrow when we are sitting down the back of the property. She also loves to sit at the back fence (which is wire) and watch the magpies, scaring the frilly lizards away from their nests high in the trees........she was quite amazed one day when she saw this lizard run all the way down the tree and over to her direction.......quite a thrill.......she is so happy in her little environment that she never tries to leave home at all which is a blessing for us. Best regards.....Lesley 21/11/07
Hi there Sue, Oramor Glitter has settled in at our house to a greater degree in the last month. She is such a beautiful animal and so intelligent. She watches everything I do and takes it all in. She plays quite a bit now with pieces of paper mainly and loves to put the throttle on full and the tail as big as it can be and run one end of the property to the other. Loves her freedom for sure. Regards Lesley, 8/1/08
As you can see Kissy Face has settled in nicely........Most of the time Kissy and Glitter are wandering together and lick one another from time to time. Oramor Kissy Face is indeed a lovely little cat and just loves a cuddle. We came home yesterday late and found them literally "back to back" touching on the spare bed and I couldn't resist a photo of course. . Tell me they don't look contented??? Just love the photo.
