Little Merlot is doing so well - it's a little dynamo! The two of them don't stop, but they are just so cute, I can't help but cuddle them whenever I am home! They even sleep in bed with us - right in the middle of the two of us!!!!
We thought Shiraz would end up being the dominant cat. She is still a bit smaller than
Merlot, but sometimes it's difficult to tell them apart. Her face is smaller and rounder. His fur is starting to lighten up a bit, so when they are older we might be able to tell them apart a bit better!!!

I just wanted to give you an update on Shiraz and Merlot! They are simply gorgeous!
Merlot is getting SO big and is such a handsome cat. Shiraz is still quite small, but she has the cutest face, and the naughtiest personality! If there is a door open, you can guarantee she'll be out there in a flash!!!
They are getting along famously! They cuddle up with us at night - and they cuddle each other at the same time! (It can get a bit annoying when I want to move in bed!!! Ha ha ha!) And boy can they purr - he's like a little freight train!
I have attached a photo of them, this is how they sleep most nights.

Last night it was so quiet in the house, and I was a bit worried that they might have found a sneaky way out! Only to open the bedroom closet door and there they were - sleeping all curled up with each other on Pete's shirt (which they must have pulled down earlier on!). It's funny, they really hate being apart from each other, and if they are, they'll soon let us know! They are so gorgeous!!! 26/11/07

Check out how big the kittens are getting now!!!! Merlot is such a little man, strutting around the house! Shiraz just wants to play all day!!!! They so affectionate to Pete and I, it's just awesome! I honestly didn't realise that Burmese cats were so affectionate!!! I love it!
They are allowed on the balcony for a short time each day now. They love being outside, and they especially love tormenting the dog next-door - Ruby. Both balconies are around the same height, and Merlot sits right on the edge just staring at Ruby! It drives poor Ruby insane! Shiraz is a little more apprehensive about going to the edge, which suits me fine! Merlot makes my blood pressure go through the roof - he has no fear!
