Dear Sue, EVERYONE LOVES LILY! Even visitors who don't really like cats, she worms her way in and will just walk up, stand up, pat their hand and flash those big blue eyes at them, they can't help but pick her up and cuddle her. Lily is a beautiful girl. As you know, I was expecting when she came to us, well he is 4 now. She is just wonderful with babies. I would feed him, she would sit on my lap with her body draped across my son. I would often go in and find her curled up asleep around his feet or under his arm. She is so gentle. I baby-sit my nephews and she will sneak up while they sleep and give them kitty kisses on their eyelashes then snuggle up to them and sleep. Unfortunately we lost our blue point boy at 13 years of CRF last year and had to have him put down. Lily must have known this was coming, she was so good to him. She would curl up and keep him warm and wouldn't even come out to have her own dinner, we had to bring her out for it. I think she misses him as much as we do. She loves to keep me company and chats to me on my bathroom visit in the morning, she sits on the clothes dryer whilst I do washing and converses with me and at night, she is Daddy's girl, she sits on the arm of the sofa talking to him and getting stroked. When it's cold, she will cuddle up to him and is often seen with her head poking out of his bath-robe watching TV. Whilst I am on the computer, she is on my lap, patting my moving fingers with her paw and then she curls up and sleeps. She has found a bed to sleep in at night, she sleeps with my eldest son, on the top bunk LOL She can often be found in his bed during the day too when he is at school. She loves to play and her favourite toy is a feather on some wool! We have lots of purchased toys but she likes the one we made best. She plays with our little dog but the dog is too energetic for her and Lily gives her a look as though to say "you don't know when to give up do you?" and walks away when she's had enough. The dog is very protective of her too. Take care Sue and keep up the fantastic work you do with these babies. They are truly a delight in every way. Kindest regards, Bronwyn, Colin and family. Dear Sue, We have had Skye for just a week, and already Lily is mothering her and they are best friends, no problems introducing a newbie with her. This could of course have something to do with the fact Lily loves kitten food LOL! Lily is such a beautiful girl, she takes everything in her stride, nothing seems to phase her. They had just finished romping around the house like baby elephants and needed a catnap. Skye was trying really hard to take over the "Daddy's Girl" title from Lily, but it didn't work, Lily will always be his favourite. Once again Sue, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Kindest regards, Bronwyn, 28/6/06
Dear Sue, I have included a photo of dear Lily. She is a sweet, beautiful girl who just brings out the best in everyone. She recently decided that the top of the computer monitor is her favourite place to be. She is so well behaved and tells the others off when they get on the benches. She sits and patiently waits until her dinner is ready. She's most definitely the Queen and keeps everyone in line. Thank you so much once again for allowing her to come to live with us. She has been a delight each and every day we have had her. Kind regards, Bronwyn, Colin and Family. 22/12/06
