Sue I thought I would let you know that Bailey has settled in well. He purred all the way home from the airport & hasn't stopped since. After a quiet 24 hrs getting over jet lag we introduced him slowly to Suki & Pebbles. Initially there was a lot of hissing & growling (the other cats not him) but by the end of the week he & Suki (my 6mth old burmese) have become inseparable. Both Bailey & Suki sleep on my bed (no room for me now!) & their antics chasing each other around the house, have sent us into fits of laughter. By the end of the 1st week, they both snuggle up together (when they finally stop racing around) with lots of grooming of each other Bailey is quite bold, very inquisitive & a bit naughty at times. He's such a beautiful kitten & has a lovely nature - Thank you very much for allowing me to become the adopted mother of one of your kittens. Kind regards, Susanne , Mawson Lakes, Adelaide, 2/12/06 Sue Bailey had his vaccination booster and the Vet nurses thought he was adorable & took him out for a cuddle & gave him a present. Since Sunday last weekend (10 days after he moved in) he has taken to suckling Suki whenever they snuggle up together. Now as she's never been a Mum (she's 7 mths & desexed) its quite interesting to see - great for the bonding between the 2 of them. Sometimes she pushes him off with her back foot or just gets up & walks away but he keeps on trying - big sook! Most times she just lays back & lets him & gives him a wash at the same time. In the 2 weeks he has grown quite a bit - weighs 1.8 kgs & his coat is getting glossy. He is the perfect companion for Suki - they go everywhere together & play endlessly. I would definitely recommend getting 2 Burmese kittens at the same time or as close in age as possible. Photo of Bailey 'feeding' as from his adopted Mum, Suki. Kind regards, Susanne.
