Hi Sue, An update on Cheyenne's progress.  He's growing like a little mushroom and just loves to sit on my lap. He also loves to lay on top on the computer.
Regards,
Claire Morehead, Brisbane, 16/4/04

Hi Sue,
Cheyenne is doing so well. He sleeps with me, and his favourite place is under the bed spread. He loves to talk and holds quite a conversation with me.
He's very active and he chases Sara all over the house. They seem to take turns chasing each other. During the day he likes to sleep up on the shelf in my walk in closet .
All in all he's just a delight to have around.
Last June I lost my husband and I'm so glad I had my babies, as they helped me hold it all together, and they still do.
Cheyenne is a very loving and giving cat I can't begin to tell you how much I love him.

Hi Sue,
Just a short note to let you know "Amaya" - which is Thai for Night Rain - has settled in very nicely. My old lady - Shinobi still thinks it her mission to hiss at her whenever possible,
but Azreal my Tonk boy has decided that she's not going anywhere so he'll make the most of another female bottom to sniff. And Amaya is having a great time she races up and down the hall and sleeps in bed with us and is just generally delightful - I'd forgotten how much fun a kitten is.
Thanks again Sue, I'll be in touch when we get her spayed.

Hi Sue, Just a little update on Amaya - my little lilac oriental. She is almost 6 months old (at the end of April) Everything has turned out exactly as I had hoped, Amaya and Azreal (my Tonkinese male) are the best of friends and Shinobi (my elderly female Siamese) gets all the beauty sleep she can handle. It only took about 3-4 days for Azzy and Maya to become friends - Shinobi felt she should hold out a little longer about 2-3 weeks - but there were no actual fights - just a bit of hissing and glaring… Talk to you soon

Hi Sue,
I have no way of expressing how my heart is breaking but today the most awful disaster  occurred. Our beautiful little Amaya was tragically killed.
I am sick with grief as we (Jas, myself and the other 2 cats) absolutely adored her, and never before have I lost a baby, except due to old age. Please forgive me as I promised you I would look after and never let anything happen to her and I feel I have let you down. She was the most special little girl - and although her time with us was so short - she has the most glorious little soul and I will treasure her memory forever.
Again Sue I am so sorry. Leesa Turton 13/4/05

Dear Sue,
A few people who know and understand how much Amaya meant to us, suggested that we should enquire as to whether you found homes for her brother and sister.
Not that feel we could replace such a beautiful soul - but it was suggested that it might be very special to consider loving her brother or sister if they were still without a home. If you felt we should think about such an idea, would you please let us know, so we could see if our hearts could also consider such a thing?
Many thanks Sue - and I hope you understand how truly devastated we are.
Leesa now has Amaya's chocolate Oriental  sister and her black Oriental brother.
Leesa is smiling and happy once again.
