Tribute to Manny--Blue Point Siamese Sue- I'm so sorry to tell you this, but I think you need to know that we lost Manny,
my Blue Point Siamese today. Manny was such a joy in my life. It is like losing a son. So loving, so intelligent , such curiosity and great energy to play. I could go on and on. I can't begin to tell you how much I will miss Manny. The other two, Moe and Jack, are doing great. They live in a paradise here at my ranch, with no exposure at all to any stray cats or dogs, and hundreds of acres filled with trees, birds and field mice. Say a little prayer for Manny, Sue......you might remember him as the kitten who always was smiling when you took his picture. John 12/10/06 Hi Sue--Moe (Burmese) and Jack (Oriental) enjoy each other very much. The trio was quite a circus. Now we have two very special young cats who are quite individuals. Both are very alert and intelligent, and show their affection in different ways. Actually, Moe, (Burmese) by himself can be completely consuming and wonderful. He loves to ride with me in a golf cart and has on one occasion stowed away in my airplane for a trip to Honolulu. I think I mentioned that before. He is like a miniature lion. Jack, (Oriental) is an imp and will dart out and try to trip you. He doesn't climb up on your chest when you are reading as does Moe, but he stays close by your feet. John 04/12/06 My situation is wonderful with Moe and Jack. Moe is especially loving and affectionate, is extremely intelligent, and is loved by everyone who sees him. Jack also has sterling qualities, and shows his affection in different ways. When Manny was alive, he seemed to be able to coax Moe and Jack into hilarious bouts of frisky activity, and all three would frequently sleep curled together. John. 22/12/06 Thanks for the photos. Mother and daughter look good to me. I would be delighted to have this Siamese kitten as well as a Burmese kitten. Where I live, there are absolutely no restrictions. Sliding doors are open, 24/7. The best in diet and abundant fresh water. Expansive property with no neighbours, no dogs, no snakes, nothing to harm a cat. Lots of trees to climb. My cats never spray or "do their duty" in the house. When you compare this to the restricted surroundings of a cat living anywhere in a populated area, it would be hard to find an environment more rewarding for the little Siamese and I think we should name her "Sue". John. 31/12/06 Hi Sue All is well here. Both Moe and Jack have really settled in. Each has their own endearing personality. Jack is like a leprechaun, exhibiting his joy whenever I return home by cavorting in gymnastics over the carpet, under the sofa and racing ahead of me. Moe will stay with me no matter what I do, and has a very unique program when I recline to watch TV or use my laptop as I am now. He will climb up onto my chest and rest his head as close as possible to my chin. After a period of perhaps 5 minutes in this position, he will slide off to the side, falling asleep peacefully immediately next to me. If I am remaining at home, they are there to share whatever it is I may be up to. Thanks so much for keeping me informed of the progress of Suzette and Gecko. They will provide a wonderful addition in enjoyment for both me and the boys. John 24/1/07
