Hi Sue - The boys have really settled in and are having the time of their lives. They have even made a close friendship with my resident 13 yr old chocolate point, Madame Gecko. Manny is eating and growing like wildfire. All three have many wrestling bouts every day and there are frequent chases on the grounds, sometimes ending in tree climbing, which gets just a bit higher each time. There are three distinct personalities, and they are all really captivating. They follow me wherever I go on the property, exercising their play routines along the way. My guests are enchanted. I couldn't be happier . Regards, John, 19/4/05
Hi Sue- As you know, I have a flying business. One of my airplanes is an acrobatic trainer, made in Russia for their air force training. It has a greenhouse type canopy cockpit with the two pilots sitting forward and back, as in tandem. Last week, I had opened the front canopy and then gone back into the house and returned to the plane and strapped myself in, closed my canopy and started the engine. I didn't know it, but Moe, the Burmese, had jumped into the cockpit and was sitting in the rear seat. I took off and headed back to Honolulu. On the way, I did some acrobatic manoeuvres, 360 rolls and loops, etc. I landed in Honolulu and taxied to a stop in front of my office hangar. I opened the canopy and I heard what I thought was one of the airport cats meowing under the plane. But it wasn't an airport cat. It was Moe and he was peacefully hunched down on all fours on the rear seat with his tail circling and was looking up at me as I walked back over the wing. I was most astonished and opened the rear canopy. He was purring and very relaxed. I picked him up and put him in another of my planes, a passenger twin along with 5 Japanese guests. We all then flew back home to my ranch. When we landed, Moe casually stretched and jumped down to be greeted by Manny & Jack, who I am sure wanted to know all about the adventure. Cheers, John 30/1/06
