Parents are rostered to help run the events, on rotation about once per month. You will need to be there at least 15 minutes before the competition start to be ready. Competition days are usually Saturday mornings October to March from 9am - 12noon. Warm up lap at 8:50am. Javelin for U11- U15 at 8am Saturdays. Sometimes twilight competition on Friday nights so check each Saturday. 2005/6 Joining fees: (2006/7 fees to be advised) 1st child: $95 2nd child: $75 3rd child: $60 4th child: $50 This covers both the Summer competition and Winter Cross Country. And VLAA registration. Mitcham has no weekly fees. We have reduced fees for the second half of the season--see NLAC site for details. Children must be 5 years of age or over to register and must be under 15 as of the 30th September. Proof of age is required for new athletes. Mitcham athletes wear the following clothing:
Parents are expected to attend competition. No child is to be unaccompanied. |
