Salary Packaging is available for Monash University Staff

Most parents find this a financially attractive option. You cannot salary package and claim the full Child Care Benefit. More details can be found on the Monash University website here

Fees -

The decision in the LHMU Professional Wage Case was handed down by the Industrial Relations Commission on the 10th of May. Childcare workers paid under the Children’s Services Award will start receiving wage increases as from July 1 2005.

Fees with Child Care Benefit (CCB) deducted are calculated with 50 hour limit. Please see the Co-ordinator for estimate of fees for 2 or more children or for an estimate of a fee with a CCB % not listed here.

Fees depend on family eligibility for Child Care Benefit and is based on the families income. Usually all families are eligible for some level of assistance. You may choose to have Child Care Benefit deducted from your weekly fee to reduce your usual fee or you can pay full fees and claim your lump sum benefit at the end of the financial year.

Payment of fees

We no longer accept cash payments. There are other payment options available:

Cheques are accepted
Direct salary payment (Salary Sacrifice for Monash University employees)
deposit by Internet Banking
deposit at any branch of the Commonwealth Bank

Casual Bookings are available to permanent users seeking temporary additional care (if available)
- Hourly $6, Half day $25
Other Fees:
- Late pick up of child (after 6:30PM) $15 per 15 minutes or part thereof
- Non attendance at Working Bee $30 (Alternative duties are available to avoid fee)
