Poodles

Maxila Poodles was established in 1990 and we commenced showing in 1993. During this time we have  shown and titled several dogs, our latest being Australian Champion Maxila Tallis Howe pictured above.

Our Philosophy at Maxila is to breed quality Toy Poodles suitable for both the show ring and as loving companions.

Aust. Ch. Spribeau Stryke Midnite introduced in 1994 has been our foundation sire. He has a great temperament and always loved to show, he is now retired from stud , but still Kingpin around our house. We have some of his daughters and grand-daughters to carry on.

In 1996 I introduced Aust. Ch. Toyopet Midnite Fantasy ("Winter" ) from Toyopet, another little Poodle with personality plus. She is also the dam of Aust Ch. Maxila Tallis Howe and  grand dam of our current showgirl Maxila Taka Chance on Me.

We have commenced DNA testing for prcd a form of PRA. Our first tested  was Aust Ch Maxila Special Edition: test result : Genotype A defined as: risk group 1. normal
