All research queries are handled on a voluntary basis for both members and non members. Please note that all applications should be accompanied by an appropriate fee (see below.)

Launceston Branch members can search any of the following repositories:

• The Launceston Reference Library.
• The Launceston Community History Rooms.
• The Launceston Branch Library.
• The Archives Office, Hobart.

All queries other than email should be accompanied by a Research Request Form and a stamped, self addressed, business sized envelope and an initial research fee sufficient to cover one hour (see below).

If you are making a request by email, please follow up by forwarding a Research Request Form (click here) accompanied by an initial fee of $A10.00. For this, the research officer will ascertain whether the required information is available, and inform you of the costs involved.
