Showing: The Club annually holds
a Championship Show. Weight-pull:
With the introduction of Weight-pull by SHAM
- Siberian Husky & Malamute Club, the Club now convenes it's own
events.
Scooter Racing: This is participated by a
few of the members and these races are against the Siberian Husky and
the Malamutes and are held in various venues throughout the Adelaide
Hills. 2005 saw the first race organised by the Club - "The White Flash
Bash" Herding:
Herding has
finally come to the fore with Samoyeds finally being accepted into the
Herding fraternity, which is wholly due to the great effort that David
Brown did in compiling a very compelling booklet on the breed’s herding
ability and a 3 page spread of present and past herding champions from
throughout the world. Walks - Talks - Xmas:
During all the off time that our members have after the above activities
they still find other things to do with their Samoyeds. From summer evening
walks down at Semaphore - Tennyson Beaches to Animal Expos to the annual
Christmas sledge runs which comes to an end on Christmas morning at the
Woman's & Children's Hospital. |
