Emergency Services Liaison

Since the inception of the Project, Emergency Services Liaison has been a priority. The CFA, SES, Ambulance Service and Police are vital members in the Displan response team, and our assessment of their importance is reflected in the inclusion of the service names in our logo.

All Project training and practice exercises have intimately involved all the Emergency Services from the highest in administrative staff to the ground level workers. The Project seeks to enhance the communication between all Emergency service personnel and General Practitioners at a professional and social / community level.

Key Benefits

[Bullet] Emergency Service recognition that General Practitioners are available and willing to be involved in Disaster management.
[Bullet] Increased General Practitioner awareness of the value and availability of Emergency Services.
[Bullet] Improved teamwork means improved efficiency and should lead to lives saved.
[Bullet] Emergency services personnel will be offered CPR and First Aid education.
