Bird for SteveWedding present to my son Stephen
My son was getting married. He would have no shortage of useful things so I offered to make him a piece of lace. He chose a lyrebird. I did a drawing of the bird walking away into the bush so I would have a pattern of the birds tail and fern fronds. He said, "A lyrebirds bum, mum?" That is how a proper lyrebird came into existence. Still, it is a work of love for a fine fellow.
