They Married in the Bendigo area, twice on the same day-St Kilians Catholic Church ,in Sandhurst and St.Lukes , Church of England and Ireland ,White Hills ,on 1st August 1868. They had two children, in Bendigo, before moving to Fiji where they eventually produced 11 children , in total, who survived.... My father,"Joe" was the last of these children.

His Brother Michael, married an Eliza BARRY and they owned farms , first in Campbellfield and then Mulgrave, Victoria ,Australia, where they lived their entire lives, raising 3 sons and one daughter. Michael and Eliza married on 26th January 1876 at St Francis Catholic Church in Melbourne.Michael died ,last of the two, in Mulgrave on 22nd April 1896.
They may have had a sister , Margaret - married Cuneen, also in the Bendigo area.

We first find the two brothers , when the Victoria Post Office, first Published its Lists in 1868. MICHAEL lived in Bourke St W. Melbourne at a Boardinghouse, while JOHN was a Grocer/Publican in White Hills.We have some information, on early years, in Australia, but none as to How or When they arrived.

Both families are working together, to find more -- Families spread Worldwide-- WHO, WHERE ARE YOU ? Are YOU related , by BIRTH or by MARRIAGE ?

We have Family contacts ,in Ireland and America -- they have a story of a brother going to the USA. A Sister finally inherited the Family Farm and it is her descendants we are in contact with. We can find one surviving Marrinon , in Ireland- an old man. The Townland was Knockatooreen ,County Clare. IF you are a MARRINON,MARRINAN,SHAUGHNESSY,HARGROVE,HARDGROVE,STORCK,GOTTLE, O'CONNELL ,CUNEEN or have recollections of these names , in your Family History, we would love to hear from you.
