NETMEETING - VIEWING A LIVE WEBCAM

The above is intended for use of our Webcam as a live video. If the date and time does not match the same as yourself (taking or adding the necessary time difference) then the IP Address will no longer be valid. This IP Address is usually different each time you log onto the internet. Our Internet Service Provider (ISP) allocates a new number each time we log in and it is because of this that we will publish the number each time we plan to have the Webcam as a live motion picture rather than taking a photo every 30 seconds or so. By the way, live motion picture will still have a 3-5 second gap but hopefully a little more interesting as well as having sound (though I sound like Darth Vader).

You will require Microsoft's NetMeeting that can be downloaded from http://www.microsoft.com/windows/netmeeting/ if you don't already have it. (To check, click START, PROGRAMS and look for NetMeeting). Once downloaded and installed, load NetMeeting (START, PROGRAMS, NetMeeting) and enter the IP address from the top of this page into the black line in Netmeeting as per the below (eg type 158.152.93.184)

Click the yellow Telephone icon to make the call. We will have to be nearby to accept the incoming call and then you should see "live" action. (Usually us in front of the TV or gardening!). Happy viewing.

NOTE Just for reference, you can find out your IP address by two methods.

1.) Load Netmeeting and click the HELP menu and then click ABOUT and at the bottom it will display your IP Address.

2.) Clicking on the START button in the bottom left hand corner and then clicking on RUN.. then enter WINIPCFG and OK and the screen should be displayed which will show your IP Address.
