ABOUT THE GARDEN After working on the block for three years we had a house site and basic garden design. Lots of rocks were drilled and blasted, then we worked around what was left. We moved here in 1993. We didn't have a garden until we prepared to open the garden in 1998 in Australia's Open Garden Scheme. In June 2000 our garden was featured on ABC's Gardening Australia program.. After so much work making our tropical garden, winning "Your Garden " magazine Garden of the Year in 2000 with a trip to Chelsea Flower Show has been the highlight of our achievements. On our trip overseas we took the opportunity to visit many countries in Europe and Scandinavia. The trip holds many memories. We have met so many wonderful people through our garden. For those of you with gardens or just starting your garden, it's a lot of hard work. Don't give up, keep at it and the rewards will come.
ABOUT US Larry has lived in the area all his life. Robynn has also had a few years in Nowra NSW and Dampier WA. so has experienced the wet and dry areas of Australia.
